Caring Hearts for Africa's Disadvantaged Children
is a democratic organisation, which is not political or religious affiliated,
based on the voluntary involvement of its members.
Our Vision is a world:
1. Which values, respects and defends children;
2. Which gives children hope to a better future;
3. Protects children from abuse, violence and exploitation; and
4. Enshrines to each person that a child as a right too.
Mission Statement
Children have special rights, a right to life and development. CHADC
endeavours to have those rights respected and defended without discrimination.
Our Values
1. We value the fact that children are special and that they not
be discriminated against;
2. We value all the children’s rights;
3. We value the survival and healthy development of children;
4. We value quality education being provided to children which enhances
lives.
Our Aim
1. To assist the children of asylum seekers in UK access mainstream
services and to improve their quality of life;
2. To reduce the number of educationally disadvantaged children.
3. To increase primary and secondary school participation and completion.
4. To improve the children’s quality of life by improving their
nutrition and health care.
Objectives
1. The promotion of the welfare of children by alleviating the hardships
imposed on children by the social economic situations;
2. To assist the children of asylum seekers in UK access mainstream
services and to improve their quality of life through;
2.1 The provision of a Homework Club
2.2 After School Activities
2.3 Guardian Workshops
2.4 Trips & Outings
3. To sponsor children in Africa through primary, secondary and higher
education by;
3.1 payment of their school fees and provision of scholarships
to those in higher education;
3.2 provision of school uniforms and all educational materials such
as books, etc;
4. To set up and run feeding schemes for children and those children
infected and affected by the Aids pandemic;
5. To provide counseling to children infected and affected by the
HIV/AIDS pandemic and have lost one or both parents;
6. To train and educate school leavers in useful and beneficial skills
in order to sustain themselves;
7. To support identified schools in Africa with equipment and any
necessary repairs and development as required, to benefit both children
and the communities at large;
8. To provide recreation facilities and maintain them.
